HIGHLIGHTS + HIDDEN GEMS OF A LOCAL PERSPECTIVE: ROME TO SICILY

This trip to Ireland is a 8-day journey with a local perspective from Rome to Sicily. Our adventure begins by exploring Rome via Vespa, a la Roman Holiday, discovering the twists and lesser-traveled scenic turns of the historical city and it's infectious sights and sounds. Visit the natural beauty of Villa Borghese and Gardens, as well as the classical wonder of the Sistine Chapel. Catch a glimpse of the stars with an evening tour of the Colosseum. Awaken your appetite with a walking food tour and private wine class, learning about the treasures of Italian food and wines. Travel south to the city of Palermo and discover more of the hidden wonder found in Sicilian cuisine. Like a local, travel along the coast via train to the charming town of Cefalú. Independently see the town via e-bike or by foot. Conclude your journey via train to the charming city of Taormina. Spend the day visiting Mt. Etna and experience a local opera in town. Savor Sicilian delicacies as you overlook the irresistible views of the Mediterranean Sea. This trip will give you an experience as only locals do--from their perspective.
